Blog Candy until My Sundae Sunday Catalogue Reveal EVENT

Good day friends

sorry this is coming to you so late

I had internet issues at home this morning and so I had to send all my photos to Kayla's computer at work so I could do this post

but then I get to work this morning at the bright and early hour of 4:20am and I get so side track with my daily work demands that I fergot about my post

sooooooooooooooooo here go my post for today

I was in my craft room at  2:00am this morning getting my cards ready for my

Sundae Sunday event

so exciting

New Catalogue REVEAL - do you have the date marked down?

Good morning to you on this beautiful Tuesday

I am ready to battle the day he he - I say this cause my day started at 2:55am and I have a huge list of stuff to do today

It will end with a hair appointment at 7:30pm - so it will certainly be a long day

but I get to drive my Hummer today

thanks to my Evan and to my Tyler

you see my front wheels were locking up

as if my front driveshaft was in 4 wheel drive (couldn't turn sharp and it would make a clunk noise randomly)

but my two wonderful mechanics fix my baby and it's road worthy once again

Thank you so much Boys - so happy to have to Hummer working perfectly again yhippy

sooooooooooooooo onto why you are really here lol

Oh I need to thank Kayla for the wonderful dinner last night

she made maple salmon - pastachio carrots and a dip that was to die for

I should get her to give that recipe so I can share with you all

Renee is Kayla's partner but she worked a tad late - so she came in on the tail of the cooking

it was a fabulous dinner

I love these switching nights dinner - it's so much fun

Next on deck is Evan (Thursday night)

okay I promise enough blabbling lol

I am getting so excited for my first Catalogue reveal event

I have been busy trying to do two make and takes for Sunday's event

and getting goodies and all sorts of stuff wanta see?

Aren't those glass adorable

I thought how cool would a Sundae look in these uh?

and this is the beginning of my card creations

I am going to be having a sign up sheet for a special class that I will be holding on Sunday July 29th

it was my grandmas and the really neat part of it

is that it's written on an old "Lay Way" card from

Freiman's - if you are from the Ottawa Ontario

area and lived there between 1918 and 1972 you would know this store!

My grandma a school teacher would work during the summer at this store

is this cool or what???

Good Monday Morning with a recipe created with My Digital Studio from Stampin Up

Good day to you all

hope you really had a great weekend

I am sure I don't have to tell you that mine was a good and busy one he he

today I have a recipe that I want to share with you

I know it's not Wed

but I missed recipe posting last week

so why not do it this week right??

sure thing let's get at it

Renee Woody and I made this on Saturday night

it was soooooo good

the recipe comes from
Woody's mom

and we dressed it up just the way we like it

ready for the pretty recipe and then I'll share photos of the pizza okay?

okay let' me share photos of the process

this is a veggie one that I made for me

I put caramelized onions on mine instead of pizza sauce

here it is cooked and very very yhummy

then we also made two meat kinds

meat one going into the oven before it was baked

there it is nicely baked

these were very very good and the dough worked out so nice

so I hope you have enjoyed this pizza post

Little Friends thank you 3'' x 3'' card

Good morning friends

sorry I did not get to post yesterday

I will have to say that although this is a short week it has felt rather long long

I was up at 2:48am yesterday morning as well

and never was able to make it to post on my blog for y'all

you see the office has been very interesting this week

I have been trying to run my business with half the staff!

I KNOW crazy uh????

Thank goodness Tracey was scheduled to work and was sure a big a help(even though she also had a sick little girl at home - maybe I should say thank you Tracey's mom)

whow what would I do without that girl 

holly cow uh???

My Renee was sick with a migraine and vomitting on Tuesday

poor girl she even tried to make it to work for a few hours but that was not so good(not to mention that Max had his testing for his doggie training class)

did I ever mention that we never hace a dull moment around here lol

our Kayla has been sick Tuesday and Wed. and she was away a few days last week - so it's been fun trying to stay a float you know???

I started with Watercolour cardstock

you see when I am not running at my best I go to something I totally love to do 

and that my Friends 

is watercolouring

stamped the little image with Black Staz On

used my watercolouring pencils

and then the aquapainter

oh yes this is a good therapy

created a little grass

then I made a boo boo

I don't like that Thank You

gonna make that better he he

I decided to create a cute little banner

ouh la la love them new framelits

called BITTY BANNERS

so adorable don't you think??

so I cut the base 6'' x 3'' scored at 3''

Happy Tuesday Catch up from the long weekend

Hi Friends

sorry I never got to posting this weekend

it was a good weekend

but super busy filled with a huge list of accomplishments

I love that 

always is a great feeling to have that catch up time you know?

sooooooooooooo today I will finally share my goodies that I received from my family

sorry it's so late

I always come thru on my promise they are just at time delayed

the first photo I will share is my Renee's card that she made me

I love it so adorable uh?

it's from my Wanda

she knows that this is truly my favorite flower EVER

she covered the pot with Stampin Up Designer fabric and made a pretty bow

she even covered the little stick with the card with the fabric

then she made me homemade Biscotti

oh yes I am a coffee addict no doubt about it

onto some of crazy life photo shares

look at what Charlie got into the other morning

yes I was the one who pulled them out

with needle nose plyers

look at the one is huge uh

I was worried about not getting them completely out

but I did he he

at least he only had three of them right?

and then there is always our job that we get to go on site 

we get to make someones piece of equipment all pretty

love that part of my job

oh but wait in the middle of all that I have a little Max that is not well

poor guy

so first he was diagnosed with hypothyroid

then he started having problems with his gums

then his eyes

so now not only do I have to give him a pill twice a day

I also have to put stuff in his eyes 4 times a day and they are not drops

sooooooo how fun uh?  poor little baby

he is a trooper though and on the up swing he seems so much happier with the medicine

I did get to have a ittle fun this weekend though

Renee Woody and I had a nice fondue evening at home

and Monday I got to have lunch with my mom

so that was really enjoyable as well

the boys (and Kayla)

went had a nice little campin get away

sooooooo that was in part my weekend

boy did they enjoy the homemade soup and the muffins that I made when they got home hehe oh and see the brownies are gone too lol

I did work yesterday morning although the office was closed 

I like doing that get stuff accomplished you know

I did do some creating in my craft room on Saturday morning and Sunday morning

I am working towards a special event that will be revealed this week

hi friends - this is the post that I tried to post yesterday morning 

sooooo don't want to confuse you

it is Friday morning now lol

and I will ty to post this once again -

good morning

it's a cool Thursdayv(really Friday now ) here in Alberta

but at least the week has been coming around to be more favorable yhippy

other then this is my second(really my third lol) attempt at creating this post

I started at 2:55am and when I was almost at the end I lost my post

deep breath

starting again it's now 3:24am

all right here we go

so I used two fab new products

my new stamp set called Papaya Collage 

and my new FAV colour

RASBERRY RIPPLE

I chose a photo to mount in my card

I was really looking for a photo of my mom and I in a black and white but could not find anything that was going to work

so I chose this photo that was taken at my grandparents cottage

I stamped the beautiful image for the frame

used black (new stamp pad that I am over the top about squeal)

cute uh?

then I created some new flowers

and I thought fun this could be a fun flower to teach in class

ouh but then I look in the new catalogue

and nope not in there sad!

pretty flowers uh?

oh yes with my new fav colour

it's RASBERRY RIPPLE

the other colour is Very Vanilla

I also used

NEWSPRINT DSP

for the flowers

I used a embossing folder called

FRAMED TULIPS

I sponged it with Rasberry Ripple

then I was thinking I may not of liked that

now you see what I do when Make cards

I change my mind many many of times

oh yes I rethought the background can you see

I decided to used the DSP

called NEWSPRINT

I made a cut little banner with the words

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

then a few pearls

are you ready to see how my mom's card turned out

My Digital Studio Recipe for Caramel Popcorn

Good day y'all

hope this mid day week finds you all well

I aint gonna lie I am very much looking forward to

THIS week to end

sigh!

okay today I have a very very fabulous recipe to share with y'all

thank you Tammy for this super yhum yhum yhum recipe

this is the recipe

ouh yes created in My digital Studio

Stampin Up has made me have very very pretty recipies lol

now let me share the process with you

first pop the popcorn in a pot or deep pan

I also did the caramel mixture at the same time

after you have combined the two together(I used a very very large bowl lol)

 and mixed well you will be baking the popcorn in the oven

I put it in one of my Le Creuset roasters

After the 1 hour baking process and the cooling stage

I put them in little bags

and put a pretty white bow

which by the way I will soooooooooooooooooooo

MISS THE WHITE SATIN RIBBON

and I punched a little scallop circle tag

which I wrote  a little message on

kinda cute don't you think???

I wanta make more this weekend

it's a long weekend and you should see the list I have to a ccomplish this weekend

yhikes scary

but the list will get accomplished

and I will feel very very happy by Monday afternoon

all in the attitude right!

if you only knew that's what is keeping me going this week! lol

Papaya Collage new Stampin Up set for a Mothers day card

Good morning friends

yesterday's Monday was an eventful and was sure happy to get to end it with a little time with my girls last night

The best part was that I did not have to make supper 

yhippy

I started a new house rule last week(thank you Lee for the suggestion you are the best)

and it consists of one person in the family to make a meal on a rotation

last night it was Renee's turn

she made fabulous Potatoe Martinis

they were just so delicious

Thursday it's Tyler's turn 

fun!

It gives me a nice break and I think it's fabulous for all of us

I love that they are taking wonderful iniciative and so proud of the efforts that they have all put forth

ouh I totally love it!

okay onto a card share with you 

I used of my new stamp set that I got to pre-order

it's Papaya Collage

started by stampin this pretty flower image

I used Staz On as I am colouring this image

My camera was again giving me grief here

hope this weekend I can do some homework to find me a new camera!

After I coloured the flowers I cut them out

and I then stamped the frame

I did some layers

and this is where I used my new and favorite in colour

it's called

RASBERRY RIPPLE

such a nice colour don't you think

ouh and I fergot to tell you who I made this card for

this one is Wanda's card

you see she has a special spot in my heart

I wanted to highlight the day

I stopped and visited with her on Saturday night before dinner

it was really nice - she liked the popcorn too he he

ahw and she gave me a beautiful potted plant

my fav flowers - I'll post photos on Friday

and yhum biscotti (hers are truly the best ever!)

Thank you Wanda - remember that I still miss YOU Lot's!

so happy that the lace ribbon and seam binding will be in the
