Wednesday Recipe day Chocolate Oatmeal Fudge Bars

good day Y'all!

oh my goodness my friends you will just love this recipe

it's so super duper yhummy

and I'll also mention a bit addictive

it's sort of like the oatmeal fudge bars that you can get at starbucks

it's pretty easy to make and

honest they are so very very gooooooddddddddddddddddddddd

so I hope you enjoy this one

and oh yes it's in a pretty MDS

ahw look how pretty

here's a few photos of the process

the far left pan is the base and the right pan is once the chocolate fudge has been put onto the base

I doubled the recipe - these freeze very well

and all the layers are complete now

I crumpled the oatmeal mixture on top

then I baked it

here they are all cut up and on tray

I get those cheap trays from the dollar store (they are just plastic)

but they are nice to put the baking on

the other tray held some yhummy homemade chocolate chip cookies

Snow Class and our animals

Good morning y'all

so on this fine Tuesday I am finally working on an idea I have for my swap cards

I am late-  I know   my bad

but it's been hard to catch up

however I am happy to report that Renee is doing her praticum in our office

and boy did I have a day for her yesterday

oh yes I am happy to have her back he he (poor Renee lol)

and I have Kayla for a couple days full time as they are on cemester break

and Tracy is doing so great

Bless her heart - I am so fortunate to have her take Wanda's position

see good things do come to good people!!!!

anyways so I hope to have some nice cards to share by the weekend for you all

until then today I want to share some photos from my Sunday class

funny thing we missed our last class so we made snow cards LOL
they (the girls) are so awesome though and loved them

it was goooooooooooooooddddddddddddd

and Dar spoiled me with so many special goodies

my boys are home from the States with the new service truck

that was an experience I tell yha

glad that they made it home safe and sound and that everything went well with importing the truck

he is sleeping here but he does supervise HA HA

Valentine day's card with the Stampin Up Designer Cuts

Good day y'all

hope you had a really fabulous weekend

mine was good - busy - different but good

I did get to do some fun stuff instead of just the usual house work and cooking and baking hehe

I drove the boys to the airport Saturday morning

we left the house at 4:30 am

good thing I don't have problem getting up in the mornings lol

then came back home and did do some of the usual suspects lol laundry - bed changing blah blah

then headed back out

it was hair day

then I got to have a lunch day with some of my wonderful kidlets

Kayla, Renee, Woody and I had a lunch date (I know never happens - fun)

oh wait it gets better

then Kayla and I got to go to my favorite all time grocery store

we went to the Italian center shop

oh my I love that place

it's one of them places that is fabulous for Europeon specialties

oh yes and CHEEESE oh yhum

anyways then headed home and unloaded my loot lol

Sunday cleaned my house (not that GOOD but it's cleaned)

and put out all sorts of yhummy goodies for my Class

Kathy's class made snow I know I am behind with them

I am sorry girls

still hope you enjoyed it

okay so for now friends I have talked enough

let share what I made for you today

it's not like WHOW or anything but hey it's a card

and for me right now that is good lol

so I started with cutting the front panel

I sponged with poppy parade

and used our beautiful ribbon that you can earn in the salebration mini

a few layers

I played around alot with the hearts on this one

I cut them up to make the layers closer

then I used some of our wonderdul precuts

layers and details are almost done

  

voila another valentines day card

Good day my friends

it's Friday

whow can you beleive we are at the end of another week

and at the end of a month

oh my I can't beleive it

so today I will share a valentines day card

I am trying to design my swaps that I due on Monday

so how do you think I am doing?

oh yha you got it not so good lol

I will try to pull it off somehows he he

tomorrow I have to drive some of the boys to the airport so i'll be leaving about 4:30am from my house

I don't think tomorrow will bring any stampin

Sunday I have Kathy's group - it's been in forever it feels like since I seen them

so we will be stampin on Sunday

having said this I won't be posting over the weekend

hope you all understand

my first thought

oh well it was a little trial lol

it's always fun to try

so I die cut the heart and then I did some score lines around the very vanilla

then I stamped on watercolour carstock and I coloured

OUH I love to colour

can I please have 2 more hours in a day

just for colouring lol

it's coming along right?

A recipe day Sweet Potato and Carrot soup created on My digital studio

Its Wednesday and You will not beleive it

but I actually have a recipe for y'all

oh my goodness

it's a miracle

lol

this is a soup I created a month or so back

I really enjoyed it and wanted to share it with you

I even figured out a way to get my

MDS recipe page onto my blog

I can't do it from my work computer

so had to email it to my home laptop

oh yes at least I got it lol

it's a pureed soup this one

 it really low in calories

which is always good right?

it has a  nice thickness to it and it's super yhummy

Sweet Cake Card and Cup Cake Box Class

hello friends

yesterday was a good start to the week and I look forward to an even better Tuesday

I actually got a bit more sleep last night and I am so very grateful for that

oh yes that is what I needed - espcially after Sunday nights evening of disruptions

ahw It's a nice feeling to sleep more then 2 or 3 hours

and so today will be a GREAT day

I am going to share our class fun from Sunday

oh boy I missed those ladies - it had been a while since I had seen them

and it sure was nice to have them play along with me in my craft room

thank you so much ladies

and so here's what my

Stampin Stressaway Craft room looked like Sunday morning before class

the little cupcake boxes were so cute - I purchased the template online and then I doctored it up

I know my bad

the card though I created in my head all by myself lol

I had fun playing with the new vanilla scented embosing powder

and I had fun putting icing on my little cupcake lol

ahw I actually had my craft room nice and clean

it so needed it

I look forward to our new house with a bigger craft room and cabinets

oh yes that will be fun

and the ladies hard at work

ouh that sounds bad lol

hard at making cards lol

looking good

and having fun

what more could we ask for on a Sunday right?

a photo card for Rex's Birthday

Good day y'all

it's a new week - and here's to a much more successful week then the last

I am going into this week with a lot of positive thougths lol

oh yes I can and I will he he

Saturday brought lot's more baking for me

I made these awesome oatmeal fudge bars

oh my goodness they are to die for

I will try to share some of these recipies - my work computer (which has my MDS on it) will not let me post photos or anything like that

so I've got to figure out a way around that real soon

anyways so I doubled that recipe and froze half of them and then gave some to Kayla and put a little care package for Tracey and for Woody's family as well

I also made awesome chocolate chip cookies (I know boring) but it was anew recipe that I had never used before (also doubled that one)

and they turned out very very delicious

I was successful with my class project - oh yes phew

I cleaned house - did all the laundry

oh and this was all Saturday

Sunday I shovelled and I worked on a couple of projects  before class

and made my super ahead so it would be ready for after class

tomorrow I'll share class photos with you

okay onto Rex's Birthday card

I know I am so far behind at sharing this one lol

so I started with the only family photo of the 4 of us in Jamaica

I matted the photo with black and white cardstock

ouh la la let's border this photo with something different

oh why not right?

now let's see what will be next on this card for Rex!

oh I just love them little hearts

a few more little details

and this card is almost complete

the inside

I used that photo of the 7 of us taken on Christmas eve

here is Rex's card

I put some Crystal Effects on the little heart by the greeting

and the little key as well that I put on top of the heart on the right

and voila the last photo of Rex's card

I don't usually do pink on man cards

but it just went to nice with Evan's shirt that I thought I would just accent it a bit lol

Ouh the strugges of creators block

good day friends

It's Saturday and I am trying to post this today - one day late sorry

something is still kinda weird on my blog

I can't change my font not the size

so I am sorry about that

anyways I wanted to share my attempt at making my projects for class that is tomorrow

and this was supposed to be a cute little cupcake box

and well let me say that this has taken an entire different direction and I will share that with you all on Tuesday

so for today I will show you what I was originally thinking and how it did not go the way I wanted it to go lol

I was planning on using marina mist

I made this template for the box

and I have to say that I tried alot of different sizes and ideas to make this work

okay so it was coming along and it was going to make a nice box

this was going to be the front

I ordered plenty of window sheets to cover this little opening

hum now what am I going to do with all those window sheet

any suggetions???

so then I was thinking that this box just did not have enough whow

after all this is supposed to a Carole'Anne style projects for class

and well it was less then desirable

so I went back to the drawing board

that would be the reason that I was up around 1ish am all week to try to do something really special for my ladies tomorrow

talking special oh my goodness

so you all know that I would of loved to have gone to leadership with my friend Lee right?

well I was not able to attend

but I did hear some pretty amazing news

Having posting issues today

hello everyone It seems that I cannot post on my blog today I am really not sure why - maybe because it's way too cold - however I just wanted to say I am sorry and I will try to post tomororw - I'll share in my struggles for my class prep - hopefully I will be able to post for you all - maybe it's another sign sayign I should of been at Leadership with my friend Lee! little boxes created for the cards

good day friends

hope you are all having a fabulous week

today marks the 12th anniversary of my Grandmother's death

she was an amazing lady

I will be doing a tribute to her as well as my brother on February 3d, which will mark my brothers

12th anniversary of his death -oh yes 2000 was a remarkable year

so I thought I would combine the two together

having said this I did want to reflect just for a moment

onto something brighter

let me share the three cards together and the three little boxes that I made

voila the three cards all together

I love that each are different and made specially for each

of my kidlets

I'll admit the first try was not so successful he he

yhap that did not fit

oh well live and learn lol

 

 I managed to make them all work

each box is matched to the card

I wanted to use black satin ribbon but can you beleive I am out of that ribbon

anyways I also made little tags

with the stamp set called

the bottoms of the boxes are in black

and so this will mark the end of these posts

were you getting tired of them lol

sorry just could not post just one of them as their were so unique

and made with lot's of love

and I just had to way too many photos to post in one post
