Good Thursday Morning, oh yha you know it it's Sandi and I's 10 Minute Challenge with our NEW Mister Linky so you get to play with us! OUH LA LA how fun??? Excited to share with you what happened when I tried to make a ten minute card..........................................
But first I want to remind you to go make sure you go see Sandi's amazing card, she gave me a little hint, she says, "Bleaching"! You won't want to miss what she created, cause let me tell you it's always amazing!
I also would like to say Thank Kelly for featuring Sandi and I's blogs on her blog find today - you are really wonderful for doing the blog finds each and everyday! Just so helpful - so I thank you!
Okey dokey! Here we go!
Firstly here is our scetch for you! Please use Keyword # SCA102 if you upload in Splitcoast - then we all can go check out this gallery - I think that is just so super cool - don't you???
Oh yes and I almost fergot the theme this week at LNS is Masculine, remember? Well that is what I did!
My first thought was to do a Brayer technique - and then I didn't like my card - sooooooooooo I used my trusty Chef Stamp set - so bare with me folks this post is bit long - I am sorry about that - I just really wanted to share all three cards with you - cause I just did not like my first attempt and as you all know by now - I am not shy to show you how I messed up - LOL :)
so I started with the sketch and some sort of manly colours!
I used the Autumn Days stamps set along side of the Three Little Words
stamped Craft ink on my white glossy and then embossed it
all was good up until this point - when I was putting the finishing touches on this card - that is when it went all down hill - yhap sad but true - yhuky! that's all I can say lol
sooooooooooooo here we have it - Renee thought we should fold the ribbon (she said it was too wide) she folded it for me so it would not be so wide - I don't know why I am just not super thrilled with it -
I did another version a step up version - Cause Grechen always does these cards on her blog,
so here is a STEP UP Version
but ofcourse as you all know me by now I was not going to settle for this right???
so I started over - Again I am so sorry for this super long post - but hey you are getting 3 cards for the price of one - oops oh yha this all FREE LOL :) Just kidding - but you know what I mean right??? HAHA
SHUKS! I just wanted to share a photo of my son "Evan" and my Max - I never get to photograph my Evan (he is like his dad -don't like his photo taken - he he! you can tell my his non smily face LOL :) )
it seems as though Max has taken over the spotlight on my blog............. LOL - he has several followers..................... he he :) I think it's so cute!
so I decided that I would make a new card - I love the Voila chef stamp set - so yhap I used the chef
I am calling him CHEF GEORGE ( This is for you Mr. Campion - cause I know you are the chef at your home - don't you just love him??)
oh yha and decided that I wanted to use the Color Throwdown challenge

oh and that textured paper I used - cause Liane reminded me of it with her manly card - thank you Liane - GREAT idea!
I Stamped lot's of Chef Georges - so that I could easily and FASTLY (he he is that a word?? )
decide how he was going to be dressed
I am so much happier and so excited about this card - You will love it!
Remember how I used punched circles on my Chic Boutique card - well I thought I would do the same here - cause I really wanted his buttons to be in the dusty durango - and then I put Crystal Effects to make them look like pearls/brads! I just love this idea!!!! don't you???
Now this is where I would been done I have a little over a minute -
HOWEVER - I decided that I would step it up to the next level - by colouring his Smore (Oh yha that came from Stampin UP Under the Stars Stamp Set) -and I also added the greating from that same stamp set - then had to do the little buttons - and George will be all dressed up and ready to rock and roll
soooooooooooooooo there you have it - oh one more photo to show you how cool the buttons look!
Please meet CHEF GEORGE!
okay okay I am sorry this is the end of my ever sooooooooooooo LONG post
Soooooooooooooooo NOW IT'S YOUR TURN - YOU GET TO PLAY
But first you must go visit Sandi at her BLOG
and then go create a CARD - but please please don't forget to come back to post in Mister Linky!
Cause Sandi and I will pick a two winner's next Wed. - We would just love it if you played it along so let's make it a great week of 10 min cards okay???
ouh yha I almost fergot to mention something really really cool- if you take a booh on the left column you will notice that I now have catagories of stamp sets - oh yha I didn't do it I are kidding me??? LOL

I love both your cards but Chef George the most. Your son is very handsome and little Max is adorable. You just sold me on the Viola stamp set. I want it so bad. I could cut that thing out easily in under 10! I still think you are tops!!! Tammy

Wow, I just love those brayered cards, love the colors. The chef is great, I had that set but gave it away, now I'm sorry I did. I will have to buy it again, I guess. Thanks for enabling me, lol.

Great cards! I am still in shock that you were able to cut that Chef out three times, and still make the card in 10 min! I must be a real slow cutter! I could never do it! you must be a wizard with scissors!
