Good morning - Can you beleive it's FRIDAY?! Oh and the 13th yhikes!
Blog Candy details at the end of my post - I didn't forget! he he :)
here's how things went this morning for me!
I chose to do 2 challenges into one card today, and also decided to a Joy Fold Card (but of course I did not do the exact measurements he he!)
I did not do the Diva challenge last week - so I was happy to get to do it this week!
this link will get you to the tutorial that I got the idea from - but I did not use the measurements - I used the idea I guess!
now for my colours

We are set - ouh and I received some new toys yesterday! Wanta see??
so I wanted to use my new snowmen card!
so as you know I just love to make cards with my Bride paper - and I did brayer it - Anytime I can't find a pattern paper I use the bride paper!
This is the Joy Fold Card Base - I created my card to be 5'' x 5''
This is the piece that goes as the Flap - I later decided that this piece would be red and I ended up making it 3 1/5'' x 6 1/4'' and I scored it at 3 1/8''
Side view
All Circles made with my Big Shot (use the circle dies - on Page 202)
you can see that I reduced the insert card piece here (the red one)
I over stamped my image after I coloured it and put shimmery paint on my snowmen -used my Stamp-a-ma-jig of course LOL :)
Buttons.................. hum!??
good thing I hadn't assembled this yet - I decided to round all the corners - this is why I only assemble at the very end - cause I have been known to change my mind lol:)
I put the Pop Up Glue Dots (Stampin Up Idea Book Page 192)
on the back of my Brads ( which are on page179 these are the Jumbo Brads - 5/16'')
Well there we have it - my First Joy Fold Card - What do you think??? The orange is on the noses of the Snowmen - how sneaky am I LOL :) But it's in there - that was the colour challenge he he :)
Side view with the ribbon untied -
oh yha that was something else different I did - I put the ribbon inside so that my card would stay shut better!
Hope you enjoyed my card today!
now if you leave me a comment - I will put you in for a draw - oh yha you guess it!
For BLOG CANDY!!!!
So what's it going to be???
It's super special - I am giving away the "Sweet Centers" Stamp set! Can you beleive it??
That's some awesome blog candy I tell you!!!
So the more comments you leave me the more chances you have to win the Fabulous Blog Candy!! You will have until Sunday Nov. 29th @ Midnight! Good Luck!
alright this it my blogging friends for today - got to go to work!
Oh I wanted to quickly mention that Max is Tubless, and whow! What a difference in this little baby. I tell you he is doing so much better and we just couldn't be happier! Thank you for all your well wishes for Max, it just means so much to us!
