Good day!
I did a card this morning that is not my usual clean line kinda a card
a bit out of my eliments so I really hope you don't mind....................
Cause honestly I am not sure if I like this card or not!!! HUM>?>
ouh but wait wait......................... Ouh la la we got to announce the winner of the BLOG CANDY
okay ready
Winner is
STEPHANIE (from Quebec)
Congratulations Steph, please email me your address so I can send you this fabulous Stamp Set!
Phew that was fun uh???
Stay tunned going to have ore blog candy for you starting Thursday!
okay so I started with three challenges today
the first is the butterfly challenge over at Late Night Stampers
the second is Kewl colour challenge
and last but not least is the a sketch from Card Patterns

now let's get started!
okay so be kind, cause like I said............ WAY out of my comfort zone but I have to try something new sometimes right??
so here we go
and then I created a flower that I have never done before
kinda cool sort of another tutorial for you!
this is the flower I am going to show you how to make
pretty uh?
so we will start with our scallop circle punch
I used Bridesmaid card stock as well as Chocolate chip patterned paper
so you will be punching a total of ten of these
I did 4 in bridesmaid and 6 in the patterned paper
now we are going to crimple them
CRAZY lol
now we are going to uncrimple (is that a word HE HE ) them
okay so I am going to poke a hole in the center to be able to put a brad in
I did my best to keep that hole in the center
insert brad
I am just going to refold the flower from the center out
like this
so you do that each layer till you get to the bottom
and your flower will look like this!
okay now let's move on
oh I want to say that the look of my card is designed around this flower
I did some butterflies on my
Let's say all together now
BIG SHOT lol
now to get some card stock cut
I thought I was going to use the bridesmaid card stock but I changed my mind
I also did a few test of the butterflies
I added Old Olive and Chocolate Chip satin ribbon
pretty
whow I haven't used that for a while
and maybe this is the reason that I am not super happy with my card???
I think I am way too used to the clean straight lines you know??
Message for Mom
and
Sweetheart
I watercoloured the flowers with my stamp pads and some shimmer paint
all right then I ruffed up some edges to go with my teared look then put the card together
I am not happy at this point
oh well no turning back now I will show you my card
well the watercolour is nice he he :)
nothing else mind you lol
up close at the flower and that is it for me today
I wish you all super Tuesday
see you tomorrow
Embossed hug to you
from me

First, I have to say THANK YOU for the blog candy! I am really thankful for all the amazing ideas you post here on such a regular basis. You are very disciplined my friend! Even without this sweet treat, I'd keep coming by!
I love the flower on today's card! I had never seen this before. This style is a lot similar to mine. I tear and ink a lot on my scrapbook pages, so I will definitely tell you: GORGEOUS card. I also like the colour combo.
Thanks again Carole'Anne! I can't wait to receive my stamps!!!

Hi Carole'Anne,
I think you should step out of your comfort zone more often. This card is great!! Love that you made your own flower. I have been into making a lot of mine for a while now and they are fun to do. I love this one with the papers you used.
Have to ask you a question - do you do your own nails or do you get them done somewhere?? They are always beautiful and today quite different as well :o)
Love Candy

Dont you just love these flowers I have become a bit addiction to them. I have tutorial on my blog which is slightly different. Love the two tone colours of yours. I am thinking another card is in the making.

Making the flower--crumpling it, etc. is a good "stress-away"! And I bet it's a lot easier to put together if one doesn't have a bandaid on one's thumb. ha ha. Your flower is much prettier than mine. It's neat, too, how you used the stamp from Message for Mom. Pretty card.

I think your card is awesome. It is different from all others. It is very unique and I love it. The flower is really
pretty and I will be trying that myself.
I also love your nails. They are way cool!
Big HUG to you and Max.

I'm so excited that I have this punch and I can make this one!I love the way you used the color combo and the sketch to step outside your comfort zone. And you still came up with a gorgeous card! Your watercoloring is always so beautiful and I love the shimmering touch. Thanks for sharing!
