kris lynch

Awesome, love the trial and error and especially the end result=)

Dawn

You are so creative in your coloring - it's wonderful. Love how you used those little pieces too!

Carey Rogers

Your card is so super elegant. I love the look. I am going to have to try the Black Magic technique- you are so persistent and patient to get it right. I would have thrown it away after the first try didn't work. Isn't the hinged card fun? I love making those. You really stepped yours up a level by using the punch. I can't wait to see your tutorial. You do such a great job explaining things.

wooo, starting the challenge early I see, good for you. Love what you did with this, try colored pencils and gamsol, it is awesome with this technique too.
I love the flip up part of the card, very clever and I'm looking forward to the tutorial on Saturday.
As always my friend, super duper awesome job.
See you in the morning, Mr. Nasty is just itching to see Madame Villaine and he has been primping for the occasion, silly kids!

Janet Swofford

Gorgeous card,Carole'Anne! I've never seen this technique before and it's really a Wow! I love how you did the berries, too! Now that's taking the phrase"using your scraps" to a new level:-)You are just too cute.

inky hugs,
Janet

The black magic technique is lovely! Especially when you add the shimmer paint to it. I hope SU! never discontinues that. The coloring that you did ultimately was with the water coloring crayons, right? If you had to do it over again, would you start with those and not use anything else (except for shimmer paint)?

Debi Engle

Love the card and the way you are able to show us the process of you creating it! Thank you!!

I've never seen this technique before. I think I will have to try it. You are such an inspiration. I really like the Asian theme too. It seems to work really well with your Black Magic.

Christina D

It's so pretty!! You made it look so easy too. Asian cards are one of my favorites.

Chris Hnatiuk

Hello my friend. First of all, I absolutely love that stamp set, and so that's a plus in your favor already! But, I was blown away by what you did with it...and how you kept trying to adapt the technique until it worked for you! That definitely says something positive about your character, too! You really put a LOT of work into this one--another beauty!

That's what I like so much about you Carole'Anne... it's that you get excited over the little things in life. So do I. I think that's because there a big part of our hearts that are still kid-friendly!!!
