We all know what it is like to struggle with a card. Good for you to push through it all and finish. Besides that we can't let our sisters win all the time huh? Loved your card, especialy the flower. I'll have to try that out. Liked the choc. chip with the brocade and white. Madame V is stunning today. Love to see what she is wearing.

That is one of your best cards even under pressure, is that headache still a problem?
Hope you have a Happy Easter and maybe a little rest. Love mom

Mitzi

Its a beautiful card. I love your flower. I haven't made any like that yet. You make it look easy to do.

Candy Mills

WOW! Gorgeous card :o)
You surprised me by using the glue gun though!
Happy Easter, Love Candy

Stunning card--love the flower you made. Madame V looks quite stunning herself! I love checking out her outfit--she is so stylish these days.

Stephanie

Girl! You are sooooooo hard on yourself. That is a beautiful card. I love the choice of colours and the layout! I think you really underestimated yourself on that one! Have a great Easter week-end :-)

Megan NZ

May have taken you a while to get into the grove, but worth it in the end. The flower is great how you cut it up to get the look of a real flower.

Trish Hilbrand

I love the colours, layout and flower on this card. Great job!

Thanks for the tutorial on the flower! I am going to try it too. Wel off to deliver Easter goodies to Tessa's friends. Hee hee!
Tessa forced me to make milk cartons decorated for the holiday.

You're kidding right? I love this!!! Simple, Elegant and right up my alley. Wish I had thought of it. You do very well under pressure....my goodness 10 minutes....I'd go nuts. It takes me that long to find my cutter!!! hehe
Thanks for always sharing your beautiful work with all of us and Happy Easter!!!
I'll be back now ya hear!!!

Your card is beautiful, as always Carole'Anne. Amazing job in 10 minutes without your usual 2 or 3 days to mull over design ideas. I am glad you are back posting today. Happy stamping.

Really like this challenge. Right up my alley! I couldn't see Mr. Linky so here's the link to my card

You are my hero my friend! I too LOVE your
card as always. Everything looks good using
chocolate chip and that awesome striped ribbon.
You should take a weekend off for you my dear. We love you more than your beautiful creations (just a little) lol.
Big HUG to you my friend and my furry friends too.

Sandi MacIver

oh my sis, I think your card is beautiful - even if you cheated, ha-ha, I did too......
It is very hard to make a card with just two colors and limited stamps, i agree it was extremely challenging, but I love the flower you created, just beautiful and looks amazing on your card.
Enjoy your half day off my friend, you deserve it after the week you had.

Carey Rogers

I love it but you know my favorite style is clean and elegante. The only thing missing is using Mr. Big Shot-ha ha but you know how I love mine and anything you make with it. On a sad note I also have a reason to make another sympathy card-a friend of ours was cutting logs yesterday and apparently fell out of the tree and died. I feel so badly for my Dean my dh since it was his business partner and also one a family member. Please pray for the family to find peace and love. I think you should take tomorrow and Sunday off since it is a holiday weekend. But I know you won't you crazy workaholic you. Talk with you later.

Come on Carole'Anne...really?! You really don't like this card! I love it! Sometimes when you are use to using many different embellishments and techniques it's harder to like the simpler one...but this is perfect...for any occasion. Unfortunately, I have had to make 3 sympathy cards this week! I'm so stumped on one because it is for a family that just lost their 10 yr. old little boy to a brain tumor. I think something like this card is really nice because it simple & clean looking...which is great when you are at a loss for words..imagine that! Me...at a loss for words! Heee hee! Anyway, I hope you & your family have a blessed Easter!
