I am so late posting this, I wish I could say it's because I was enjoying a Saturday morning sleep in, but NOT so! HE HE :)
this card just took me forever! LOL :)
Perfectionist in action!
so I started with two challenges this morning - the Stamping 411 sketch and the SPCC colour challenge
so as you can see the colours are a challenge - yhap out of my happy comfort zone
you would think that by 5:00am this card would of been up and posted considering the time I was here this morning - coffee in hand and ready to rock and roll
well not so much for what ever reason.................lol
so my first thought was that I really really wanted to use this beautiful new textured plate!
yha right uh? good thought................. read on lol
now I wanted to dye my white ribbon - so yesterday when I dyed my ribbon I used the reinker direct to ribbon and I found it to be a bit too dark - so today I have a new thought - I would do it differently - so I put water in a little container and added drops of Real Rust reinker
then added my ribbon
ribbon dying and buttons - funny thing - I didnt end up using these specific buttons - I chose a different button - he he
now where am at??
oh yes - finally chose my stamp - I really wasnt sure which stamp I wanted to use -
Stamped(Peace within) with Black Stazon so I can colour it - ofcourse - got to colour - I love colour he he - as if you don't all ready know this lol :)
now this is where all my delays started lol
I just kept messing up and not being happy with the results - want me to share all my mess ups??
oh well why not
yhuk yhuk - I tried to make grass - yha that was not a success - so I decided to cut out my basket
and restamp on a water colour paper, cause honestly after 3 tries - I really wanted to give up - but I didnt LOL
now it's blended better I can add blades of grass and I will adhere the basket and the little birdie
now the big thinking time is on!
this is making my BRAIN hurt - I don't like the bow
the greeting is fine - the bow is yhuk
no worries - I got a plan! he he :)
oh my goodness - take long enough? I am so sorry.......................... way too long of a post uh?
I do better tomorrow - I promise lol
I have a few upclose photos for you
I am totally in love with this button - the colour is beautiful
last photo of the colouring up close and I am out of here
I have a 3D project for you tomorrow - fun uh?
so please make sure to come back, if you can that is??
I thank you all for your wonderful comments, warms my heart - please keep them coming!
I wish each and everyone of you a super duper Saturday
thanks a million for spending time here with me I really really appreciate it!

Love how the card turned out! And just think, now you have a nice piece of textured card stock all ready to be used for another project...Of course, it usually takes me awhile to remember to use all those pieces that are 'ready to go'. Glad you had an enjoyable trip to Greece. How fun! Suzi Carter
