I look at it this way; if I can understand what you're trying to say then who cares if its spelled correctly. Life's too short. Love the card too. I gotta try that painting idea.

WOW is right!!! I love how you show us each step in the making of your card!! You are awesome and the coloring of your angel is breath taking!! Great job and thanks for playing along with us over at Stamping 411!!!

Carole Anne,

I wanted to comment on this angel and her hair----- oh my heavens it is simply stunning.

I got up early this morning hoping and praying you had a new something posted but I am a little early(LOL)... So now I will have to wait until I get home from work, YUCK....

I can't wait to see Max in more pics and see what you plan to do next.

Thanks again for Sharing!

Krista R.

Beautiful! Such an unusual way to use that lattice die...love the shimmer! Thanks for playing along with the Stamping 411 sketch this week!

Kay Kalthoff

How wonderfully GORGEOUS!!

Patti Chesky

Stunning!!!! I love all the shimmer!!!!

Suzi Carter

Hi. Thought I'd let you know I tried the 'paint' technique that you used on the angel. I used old olive w/ platinum shimmer for her gown, close to cocoa w/ p. shimmer for her hair and frost shimmer for wings. She looks great. Since she turned out so good, I think I'll create a card around her. Thanks for the great idea. Suzi

Carole'Anne, you are so funny--we don't care how you spell stuff and we understand completely! What a lovely card you've created with my challenging colors! That is such a cool idea to fold the cardstock before putting the die in the bigshot---you are so CLEVER! And your angel is beautiful! Thanks for playing with me and CTD this week!

Tammy Hershberger

Beautiful card! Thanks for playing the Throwdown!

Selene Kempton

Just one word.... Fantastic!!!!

I love your card! The shimmer is the perfect little bonus to the whole project!
I think your "bad" spelling is an endearing quality. Just a crafty quirk. Besides, you are far too busy sharing your creativity to be bothered with spell check. Keep up the beautiful work!

sandi maciver

bonjour, mon ami - now how's that for bad spelling, ROFLOL...something else we have in common my friend. Maybe you never got an A in spelling, bet you sure did in art.....card is fabulous as always and I absolutely love what you did with the angel image. Hug your mom,

Suzi Carter

Love the look! Love the card!Love the Angel!I saw the technique you used (in your blog the other day)and thought'I have to try that' Now that I see it on the angel, well I definitely have to try it soon! She is one of my favorite stamps. I guess she does look quite 'catholicly', but so am I, so.. so what... Suzi

Not only are you one of the most artisticly talented people I know but you are just so funny. I love to read your little quips. You really make my day. Thanks for sharing. Rub behind Max's ears for me today! Blessings to you and your family.. Tammy

Learned a new technique to use with my soon to be shipped Big Shot!
Great ideas!
Take care!

Cher Kosakura

What a stunning card!

Awesome card Carole'Anne. Love how you used the sketch and the Angel....well that is a work of art. The shimmer in the ink is just so beautiful. Mother's....gotta love 'em. I'm 61 and my mother tells me how much sweetener to use in my tea...but I love her just the same.

Another beautiful card! I love the colors and how you put it all together!

Robin Merriman

Nice use of the Lattice Die here - all of your elements work so well together. Beautiful!
Thanks for playing along with us at 411!

Carole'Anne, I don't care about the way you talk, or spell, or anything like that. I am from the south, and we say things wrong all the time according to my daughter. He hates the way I talk, so don't worry about it, if someone has a problem, it's theirs, not yours.
I think it is very endearing. Absolutely gorgeous card. I love this set and was gonna use it at a stamp camp I did a couple of weeks ago at a Southern Baptist Church, and
they didn't want to use it cuz it looked too
"Catholicy" whatever that means. Oh well, it was their loss.

Bridget Larsen

okidoke I forgot to comment about your card LOL, its beautiful as usual, I love the double diecutting idea, now I know why I faithfully follow your blog-to get cool ideas like this hee hee

Bridget Larsen

MOTHERS!!! you gotta love them, mothering us even when we ourselves are mothers. I always tell my mother that I haven't died yet and doesn't she do things differently from her mother-well that shuts her up quick smart.
You just spell the way you do, its cute and its YOU, so don't listen to Mamma hee hee

I get such a kick out of reading your blog! The spelling is all just part of your charm. I love the sparkle of your angel. I'll have to look back to see what you used. Your layout is an interesting twist on the sketch. Great job. Merci beaucoup for all your hard work.

Carol Kugler

WOW.... This card just BLOWS me aWAY!

Liane Peden

Hey Cool, you used my idea to stamp over your image to get more of a crisp outline. I love it when my ideas work! Cool Beans!
