hello to y'all my blogging friends
sooooooooooooo today I have a really unique little story to share with you!
But first I want to give an introduction to what I did this morning okay!
As you know yesterday I started an asian little note book, and I said I was going to finish it today!
So I did that and I also did a matching card with this little book - I used
I used the same colours as my book!
But first I want to share this with you!
----------------------------
I want to chat a little about Darrell - those of you who follow my blog, you know that Darrell is a close family friend who is also my son Evan's Godfather
this Darrell
This is from left to right Evan, Darrell ans Rex
ssssssssssssoooooooooooooo now that you have officially met Darrell I have such a special little story to share with you
Darrell phoned me about 6 weeks asking me to help him create a birthday card for his mom!
Sooooooooooooo we spent 8 hours creating the most amazing card for his mom, needless to say he has caught the stampin BUG he he
so Darrell has now started to stamp and has come to my stampin class!
on Sunday when he came to class he presented me with the most precious card!
HE MADE this card for ME!
Take a look
so I created my last two projects kinda casing
my Stampin friend Darrell (along with his mom Annette who helped Darrell create this amazing beautiful card)
isn't it just so cool!
look at the inside!
So super precious and I am just so touched!
I just had to share this special little story with you!
-------------------
onto finishing my projects
I am running out time this morning............. so the tutorial on how to make the little beads will be tomorrow!
Sorry about that!
But anyways I created BEADS with Scrap Paper............ can you beleive it??
and made my card ofcourse!
okay here's the card I did
so this is the background I created yesterday
which I will use on my card today!
I cut it down to match the sketch
then I punched two edges to accent this beautiful piece
I added a beautiful RED Satin Ribbon
which will be carry forward into the next Stampin Up Summer Mini
I used the Well Scripted stamp set
with Gold Metallic
it look okay just needs a little something something
my thought was to use some hard ware
but it was blah
so I turned an ivory brad into a red brad
I used red craft ink and clear embossing powder
now I am happier LOL
this is coming together nicely
I added some brad and I used Liane's little angle design
I loved it on her swap cards, which I will be featuring on my blog tomorrow!
okey doke I am ready to assemble and show you my card!
then my little notebook with the home made beads
for my notebook
now for the little beads that I added
remember that I created these bead
All By Myself HE HE I am a big girl NOW
lol - sorry one of my goofy moments
so I used scrap paper - but I will show you that tomorrow I promise okay??
aren't they just the coolest he he
I am so excited about them and I am thrilled to use them!
I strung them - and used a clear bead from the Pretties kit
now to show you the set
there we have it - what do you think??
I have a an up close photo and then I am out of here for the day!
got to go to work he he :)
cool uh???
Welll I do hope you enjoyed my post today!
Sure would love to hear from yha
so please do leave without posting a comment
I really do appreciate it!
Wishing you all a Super Wonderful day!
Thank you for joining me today and reading my special moment little story
embossed hug to you

That's a neat story about Darrell. I've noticed alot of men are into stamping and card-making now. Your book and card are so pretty. I've made a few paper beads but I can't wait to see how you do yours.

Stunning!! And Darrell's card is too! What a special gift of thanks. Wow, I remember making paper beads in high school - I made strands of beads for a curtain for my door! However, yours look much classier than mine ever did!

making beads out of paper? I'd love to learn!!

WOW! I love the card and the story about Darrell. It brought tears to my eyes! My youngest son went to Africa on a mission trip last year and brought back a duffel bag filled with paper beads made by ladies in Uganda. That gets them out of the mines breaking rocks for 50 cents a day. One lady rolls 900 beads a day! My most complimented necklace is one of theirs.

Wow such a beautiful set! I love your work.
The beads are beautiful. I can't wait to find out the rest of the story.....
Much love to you and my furry friends.

Love the beads. Can't wait for the tutorial. I might be making lots of journals for a mom's group I joined and may have to case your beads.
Great job getting a man stamping. Wish my guy would help when I'm in a crunch for classes. :)
