hello everyone!
It`s Friday!
what a week it`s been!
holly cow!
sooooooooooo today is our 10 min challenge day! Well actually is 30 minutes!
Why? you ask!
it`s because it`s a 3D challenge - since they usually take a little bit longer YOU get 30 minutes!
yhe!
so the Challenge is a 3D any non card item will do!
So this is wide open
I chose to design my own little oval basket
just to clarify that I did the template off my 30 minutes!
the template design with trial and error took me almost 2 hours he he :-)
I know I am such a perfectionist he he :-)
soooooooooooooo you all know the drill right?
you will check out what I did here - then you get to visit my wonderful sis
Sandi ( I will have her blog linked right at the end of my post)
ouh and then you get to go visit each of our wonderful StampAholic Design team
Please don`t forget to give them some love okay?
all right lets starts
the first thing I did was to choose a colour challenge
Here is today's Color Dare:
so this is my first template that I started with
after trying it and making the sides it was just too big
so I tried again!
okay this is better
then I cut a strip of 3 1/2" x 11"
and score 1" in from the bottom
I used Very Vanilla for the base colour
I then stamped with the colors in the challenge
Curry, Old Olive and Suede
I like this two step stamp Called Greenhouse Gardens
below my 1" score line I did cut marks to be able to go around my bottom template
I used a heafy cardboard from the DSP packaging this way it made it much sturdier!
pretty cool uh
I then cut another 3 1/2" piece this one in the Bashful blue
I did not score it
that is what gave me the look of having a border
it also made it more solid cause I have two layers of card stock!
now to cover the bottom on the outiside
I adhere this and covered up all my cuts
got to adjust a little but this will work
some more little details like the bashful blue ribbon
and then added a curry bow
then a few pearls from the Pretties kit
ouh la la pretty
then one more layer on the inside so it`s seemless
and it will be good and sturdy
looks good inside
and out now
I am pretty happy with this!
voila I am done
and look at the time
yhe Madame Vilaine was so nice to be that I going to let her send Mr. Nasty a message
she says
J`aimeras te voire bientot!
he he
the pearls up close
the bow up close
okay one last photo and then you get to go visit my sis and the rest of our wonderful

Great project, Girlfriend. And you made the time, too. I like the two-tone effect on the body of the basket, as well as the flowers.
