good day to y'all
you cannot imagine how happy I am that it's Friday
holly cow I am a happy girl today he he :-)
so this week Nancy has an inspirational challenge for us
those are fun cause they are wide open
Nancy what a great photo to use! way to go girl
So I started with some bridesmaid DSP and
coloured it up!
the three colours I chose from this fabulous photo was
Melon Mambo
Soft Suede
& Tempting Turquoise
I am set
are you confused he he
good that's the way I like it
suspense
I coloured my bridesmaid cardstock with soft suede
my goal was to create a little flower pot he he
cute uh?
a little texture with Mr. Big Shot
I inked up the background
then I did a fair amount of dimensionals
here is where I am inserting the book marks
now some flowers
I used a needle and thread and a ribbon to create the cute little flowers at the end of the large paper clip
added a pretty cordoroy button
then I coloured some ribbon to go with the Tempting turquoise
and did the same thing
pretty uh?
I added three little brads in the corner
and well look at the time
I suck he he
but I have to say that I had fun creating this
it's kind a like a 3D right?
let's pretend okay!
then I did it under time HE HE
I can change rules can't I?
It's a book mark and a card! lol
now to go to my sis' blog and check out her amazing work
and please don't forget to give all of our wonderful design team some love
and Nancy, thank you for a wonderful challenge
you rock
okay I am out of here for the day
now please don't forget to play with us right?
it's so much fun!
ouh and I won't post tomorrow
but I will see yha on Sunday
Embossed hug from me

Hey Carole'Anne! I think this is wonderful! Anything with the Bridal DSP is beautiful...I think this idea may become my thank you cards for the kids teacher's at the end of the year! So cute, so functional, and so QUICK~ gotta' love that part! We are all in "summer-mode" so it's outside all the time...haven't had much to time to squeeze in stamping! Thanks for sharing..you are THE BEST! ;)

What will you do without your bride dsp after this month? You have used it in so many cards! Your little flowers are so cute. You have a lot of patience.

Of course you can change the rules, it's your challenge silly girl. I love those little button flowers. The whole project is very cute. I am so sorry to see the bridesmaid paper retire but I know SU is going to have something just as good if not even better. Have a wonderful weekend. You really deserve it.

Great project, Girlfriend. Love the flowers, and the flower pot is adorable. Madame Vilaine is looking very fetching, I must say. And yes, you CAN change the rules if you want.
