Hello my blogging friends!
this morning I have a card that continues with my
Collage Theme
I used several stamps on this one!
the first was the elements of style
then I used the Very Vintage Wheel
as well as En Francais background Stamp
my colours are
More Mustard
Marine Mist
Eraly Expresso and Black!
so let see what happened when I started to play!
so I played around with a technique that I watched on video
but ofcourse I used all
Stampin Up Products
I used a Teflon Sheet to begin
then I take out my stamp pads
put your stamp pad right onto the Teflon sheet and swipe it across
can you see the ink?
then I sprayed with water at first
and then the smooch
can you see it beading up
now grab a piece of carstock
I used very vanilla
and start playing around
I tried a bunch of stuff
the other thing I used was shimmer spray instead of water
then you can either smooth it around or just pull it off
you can go back down in areas that you feel needs more ink
aint it pretty
now for stampin
I coloured the flowers
notice that I did not do spend a bunch of time on them cause I am going to ink up a sponge
right away you'll see he he
I used a greeting from the stamp set called
Occasionals Quotes
I wheel the edge with my Very Vintage Wheel
it's coming together nicely
I embossed the words
" Front the heart over the little rectangle (with the En Francais background)
I added a bit of bling and did the humming bird
I coloured some beautiful ribbon
so are you ready to see what my card looks like?
this is the embossing I did!
here we go
very different from yesterday
but still the same theme
kinda cool uh?
I think I like this idea and seems that you do too??
so what are we going to do next week??
my greeting up close
and the little humming bird which was also embossed
and voila there we have it!
that is my second Collage Card post
using a wheel for the Late Night Stampers Challenge
hope you enjoyed it!
please don't leave without posting a comment
we have a few days left until the big draw for the blog Candy
you know the one
the "Clock " he he
okay I wish you all super GREAT Tuesday
See yha tomorrow for a nice Recipe Post Day!
embossed hug from me

This is awesome. I just got one of those sheets again after accidently slicing it up with my rotary cutter. Ouch! I'll have to give your idea a try and thanks for the step by step.

Lovely card, Carole'Anne! I like the multiple layering of greetings, image, and ribbon.
Please, tell me more about the "Teflon sheet" you used. I know about Teflon, but not as a resource for cardmaking.

You do such gorgeous things that seem so messy and turn out so beautifully! All the inking on the teflon sheet would so end up on my nails, the cuffs on my sleeve, my nose, my cute little white dog! . . . You are awesome for your neatness and creativity!

What is your teflon pad made of?? I looks like plastic on top of cardboard. I think I used to have one, but it didn't look like that. Thanks for a great idea & your help! It really turned out very pretty. Beth

Love that you shared this new technique with us. So many other technique's also being used on this card, and yet it all does come together in the end to form one BEAUTIFUL Card. Those colors all work so well together, love the added embossing, and the way you layered your sentiments. I'll be back for more. Thanks again.

OUUUHHH LA LA!!! Very pretty. I LOVE it!
You are such the artist my friend.
To decide next weeks theme you should give us 2 or 3 options and let us vote. That would be fun, eh?
Big HUG to you my dear friend and belly rubs to my furry friends.
