It's Friday and it's our 10 min challenge
so today I am going to be totally LAME sorry my blogging friends!
I am really working hard to get my NEW Tutorial in a PDF format for y'all!
so I thought I would consentrate on that toda!
having said that I still have the challenge, it's just that I had all ready done this one!
so it's a repeat! I am so sorry! Hope you understand!
so now for our wonderful colour challenge
Thank you Delys
You did a GREAT job
here is the colour challenge
and I ran with this idea!
if you want I could do a complete tutorial if you wish??
just let me know okay?? I did not really have time today! sorry my friends!
soooooooooooo...................... anyways let's play!
I started with Real Red
and Yes Mr. Big Shot and some Texture
PS Annette this is the plates you use those rubber matts with for your Big Shot - do you see it??
I was trying to decide which one I liked best!???
I used a plate and folder!
then I rubbed Versamark all over the card stock
and covered it with Embossing powder
I heat embossed after
this effect give us Faux Leather!
really cool uh?!
then I did some cool stuff to turn this into a lip gloss holder
now keep in mind if you would like me to do a complete tutorial I am game :-)
then I added a wonderful cordoroy button!
my measurments are not exactly like the one on the tutorial for Project Tuesday
I made changes to fit my lip gloss he he :-)
now for some ribbon
I coloured it Baja Breeze
I always let my ribbon dry on my lamp
which I sadly cracked the other day with my coffee cup
I don't like have those ROSA moments!
now I am making it look like a book
but I am sure I will run out of time
even though on a 3 D project I have 30 min
I am changing my mind!
okay that is better
I chose to use Herb Expression and Define your life!
and I am so running out of time!
I am not sure how over I will be with this silly timer
I miss Madame Vilaine! ahw she is still not so well!
it just goes so fast you know?? does not help that I keep changing my mind LOL
I am liking this
it's kinda cool
don't you think?
okay so I for sure over at least 10 min!
the inside!
the button with the ribbon - which keeps it closed in a fashionable way he he :-)
upclose details now!
I think the leather looks cool don't you???
how about a side view?
okay last photo for today!
then I will be out of here
but you all know what you have to do first right??? Please take a minute to go visit my sis
cause I think Sandi is one of the best out there!
so you go look at her blog and her wonderful work for yourself!
then you will get to play!
ouh and please don't forget to go visit our wonderful DT to see what kind of stuff they were creative with today! That is always the fun part uh??
thank you my friends for being so understanding
until tomorrow and OH YES with the Aurum lily PDF Tutorial!
have a good day
Embossed hug from me

Great job, love the leather look, I will have to try it and see how it works for me. A couple more weeks and I can try it. I get a couple of days off and want to try some stamping things, I hope to try this.
Thanks for the idea. Love it!

I love the faux leather and appreciate the tutorial, but I must admit that I can't wait for that tutorial on your lily card to get posted. I will be among those ordering it. I saw the original card that Lee has and it is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to try my hand at it, but I'm sure it won't turn out as lovely as yours.

I kept looking at this and thought it looked familiar. Then I went to the top and reread it and saw it was a repeat, duh Carey. That's ok it was great the first time and even better this time. You keep working on that tutorial. I need to buy that thing girl. Maybe I should use it for some kind of a card exchange?
Have a great weekend with lots of furry love and licks.
