Stampaholics 3 D challenge with Stampin Up "A Cute Little Christmas"
Good day!
It's FRIDAY
oh my goodness I am so releived to see Friday this week! lol
sooooooooo
that means it's our Stampaholics Challenge!
OUH and Sandi created a fabulous 3D challenge for us all!
and whowzers - just you wait till you see this!!!
you'll love it!
are you ready???
okay so the first thing I have to share with y'all is that I have a new timer
Madame Vilaine had fallen ill before convention!
and so I have a new timer which I have not dressed up yet
I am sorry
but I have to tell you something else
the new timer is different then Madame Vilaine cause it's in hours not in minutes LOL
soooooooooo
honestly I have no clue how long this box took me
but for sure fur sure NOT 30 MIN. lol
okay let's see how things went this morning!
and my scallop large circle die!
(PS take a look at the new timer - it looks like I have 23 min plus 6:59 min right lol - well that is hours oh my goodness I am such a goof hehe)
oh I know I am loving this
how easy is this going to be to adhere to the surface
oh YES this is wonderful
take a look
love it!
are you wondering why??
Okay well I used a cardboard - to give it better support
so that will get standwiched in between the DSP
I did the cuts just like Sandi gave us on her wonderful instructions!
This is for the band that will create the walls of the round box
this band measures 2'' x 11 1/4''
okay no worries I will make this work lol
I used the label punch to do this and again
three layers on this!
let's decorate
now I have no idea how long I am at
cause I read the new timer so wrong
but let's see I got up at 3:02am
had a coffee and put my doggies out
washed my hair LOL
I was in my craft room about 3:40am
it's now 4:25am
how good am I doing LOL
but I did not go with this one he he
not happy with that
my sticky snowflakes
FUN AND EASY!
and voila
this is the image I chose instead
what do you think of Sandi's template!
I really like this little cirlce box
I like the Baja Blue and the New DSP
that Stampin Up has in their Holiday mini
it's called:
CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS!
The Sheets that I used to make the snowflakes sticky are called:
BIG SHOT MULTIPURPOSE ADHESIVE SHEETS (page 17 of the Stampin Up Holiday Mini)
The wonderful NEW BRADS
are page 36 of the same mini
they are called
GLIMMER BRADS~
they even come in the In colors How fun is that!??
the inside of the box
and the fancy beautiful Glimmer Brad!
-----------------------
All right so now it's we all have to see what the rest of our wonderful team put together
so please make sure to go visit the creator of this GREAT template
you guessed it my sis
and then you get to play!
it's your turn to create a 3 D item in 30 Min!
don't do like me
do like I say not as I do LOL
please make sure to go visit our Design team!
thank you so much Sandi great little box
thank YOU for stopping in!
Always a pleasure to you here with me!

Wow nothing like waiting until the last minute. I had to add panels to the side of my box as I didn't like it plain. Finally got it done today and edited my blog. Here it is.

This little box is adorable! I love the colors you used and those little snowflakes are too cute. Thanks for sharing and for the sneak peek of the Holiday mini stuff:-D Love those sparkly brads!
Sorry I haven't commented in a while. We've had a houseful of visitors and my blog surfing time has been sorely limited:-( Hopefully I can follow your blog better in the next little bit. I miss my sweet Alberta friend when I can't visit every day!
Inky hugs,

Very smart of you to be thinking of Christmas already. The new glimmer brads are so pretty! I love your finished inside, too. Mine is finished inside, but I didn't show it. I took a top shot and a side shot. Your new timer will take some getting used to. :-)
